A stretch of approximately 1 kilometer of the village’s public road in Mandiodo Village has been polished and repaired by PT BKM. This showcases the company’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure in the mining area.
Going the extra mile, PT BKM has deployed heavy machinery, including excavators, graders, and compactors. The road repair activities, which serve as the lifeblood of the local economy, were conducted over a span of three days. They commenced on August 11 and concluded on August 13, 2023.
Mangasa Erbang Sitorus, the CDE Superintendent of PT BKM, stated that the routine public road repair undertaken by the company is a part of PT. Bumi Konawe Minerina’s commitment to regional development, particularly road improvement.
“PT. BKM collaborates hand in hand with other companies located around the Mandiodo block for the road improvement program. This social activity is a manifestation of the company’s presence and support for the community in the mining vicinity,” said M.E. Sitorus.
