Environment
Through Solway’s adherence to The Equator Principles, we continually work to shrink our environmental footprint by implementing environment-friendly technologies to minimize our carbon footprint and power generation sourced from renewable energy. We strive to implement the best international practices established in existing production facilities to reduce waste and reuse resources.
Health & Safety
One of our primary responsibilities is to promote and protect the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors personnel, and local communities. We are also developing corporate environmental, social, health, and safety management systems for our assets and making medical services available at the local level for both employees and local stakeholders.
Infrastructure
We support the local and regional community by improving local roads and other infrastructure and building social and educational infrastructures designed to thrive. These are implemented while developing best practices and modern resource-saving mining technologies across all of our projects.
Human Rights Protection
Solway is committed to respecting human rights, according to the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP). For this, Solway has developed the Human Rights Policy https://solwaygroup.com/sustainability-polices/. This policy was approved by the Group’s board of directors and applies to all its subsidiaries, industrial assets, directors, and employees as well as all Solway subsidiaries and industrial assets’ business partners and suppliers around the world. People and human rights are part of Solway’s values and culture.
